BRL is a founding member of
SWELIA, the network to structure regional enterprise in the water sector and to accompany its development, in particular on the international scene.
Supported by the
European Union, the French Government, the
Languedoc-Roussillon Regional Council and the
Gard and Hérault Departmental Councils,
SWELIA gathers together some
100 businesses, representing some
4500 jobs.
BRL's general manager appointed member of the ceser :
Jean-François BLANCHET was appointed member of the
Conseil Economique Social et Environnemental Régional (the regional economic, social and environmental council) (CESER) in 2013 through the
World Water competitiveness cluster.
CESER LR, comprises 94 members serving 6-year terms of office. It is a body representing civil society that brings a socio-professional and environmental vision of the challenges to be taken up in the Languedoc-Roussillon region to the eyes of the regional councillors.
innovation with the water and risk clusters :
BRL took part in creating the
World Water Competitiveness Cluster based in Montpellier. It promotes the synergies between companies and research loaboratories from the Languedoc-Roussillon, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Midi Pyrénées regions, bringing innovative solutions to the world's water challenges.
Jean-François BLANCHET, General Manager of BRL, is the cluster's 1st vice-président, a member of the bureau and board of directors.
The
BRL Group is also a member of the
Risk Competitiveness Cluster.
brl member of parlement de la mer and the mediterranean sea cluster :
The
BRL Group's expertise in
integrated coastal zone management, developing coastal area activities (ports, fisheries and aquaculture...) and sea floods mean that it is also an attentive member of the
Languedoc-Roussillon Regional Council's Parlement de la Mer, a special venue for thought that federates the whole sea community in Languedoc-Roussillon.
BRL is also a member of the
Mediterranean Sea Competitiveness Cluster and the
Rhone and Mediterranean Basin Committee.
